   At UL Wealth Investment Advisors, we are a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) Firm  focused on serving those in the building materials and manufacturing industry. We partner with TD Ameritrade Institutional and Charles Schwab. All investment decisions are made locally by fee-only financial advisors with our clients’ best interests in mind. "We feel the fee-only RIA advisory model is the best and only way to do that,” said Brian Browning, President.
    We have an extensive background working with clients in the building materials and manufacturing business. Our President, Brian Browning, is the former owner of a successful real estate development company and Vulcan Steel, a steel building manufacturer.  Brian states “People outside the industry do not understand the issues that others within the building materials and manufacturing business have to navigate".

How it all began.

    After graduating in 1991 from the University of Georgia, Brian founded M.B Browning Homes, Inc. which developed over 500 properties. Twenty-three years ago, Brian was exactly where he thought he wanted to be.  In addition to managing M.B Browning Homes, he also joined his family’s businesses' at Vulcan Steel Structures Inc., which was the largest steel building manufacturer in Georgia. The family businesses had differing structures that included LLC's, partnerships, trusts, C and S corporations. The entities were in the business of real estate development, steel building manufacturing, and residential home building. Brian attributes this period of his life with his understanding of and the beginning of the extensive experience he has working with family-owned businesses. By all measures, his career was thriving. 

But something was missing.

    While he appreciated his well-defined career path and the business relationships he had created, Brian recognized that many in the building materials and manufacturing industry wanted investment and business advice. There were many investment advisors to choose from, but few had construction and manufacturing industry experience. Brian says, “I was passionate about helping others achieve their goals. I used my education as well as personal and business experiences to assist in financial matters so they could have a clear direction and sleep well at night. I think we all want to look back on our lives and say we made a difference - that we changed the life of somebody else."

    After 20 years, Brian sold his interest in Vulcan Steel to pursue his true passion of helping others achieve their financial goals.  He founded UL Wealth Investment Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisory Firm.

In our experience, there is rarely communication between the professionals and that creates more work for you. We seek to collaborate with your existing professionals to save you time and money.  In addition, if we need legal advice on your behalf, Gardner, Willis, Plaire & Wilson, Attorneys at Law are strategically located in our office building.
